Save Our Seas Ocean Conservation Day

SOS Ocean Conservation Day is a free, one day, outdoor event not only fun, but an educational program for the entire family that will help bring awareness to our ocean and the efforts to preserve and protect our living coral reef ecosystems.

This year we are excited to announce that we will be partnering with the Las Olas Oceanside Park Farmers Market from 9am to 4pm, located at 3000 E. Las Olas Blvd on Fort Lauderdale Beach. Expected Attendance: 2,500+. Vendors joining us in this year’s SOS Ocean Conservation Day will feature an eclectic array of traditional market fare including organic produce, art, clothing, home goods, apothecary items, artisanal foods and more.

Trashy Tuesday at Watson Island Marina

Join us for Trashy Tuesday! This area of the causeway tends to accumulate A LOT of trash – so we need your help to keep it out of Biscayne Bay. Join us on August 17th at 6:30 pm for an hour and a half long shoreline cleanup that will end right when the sun is setting over the Bay.
We’ll provide: water, coral friendly sunscreen, and gloves
You provide: you and a friend, a reusable water bottle or cup for water, sturdy shoes (ideally close-toed)
